This unique edition features a remarkable collaboration between photographer Louise Amelie and the kyrgyz artist, Dastan Temir, resulting in an extraordinary collection of 42 painted books.

During the Berlin Bishkek Art Weeks 2023, which served as the backdrop for the book's release, Dastan Temir masterfully transformed a total of 42 books into magnificent canvas, forming a grand mural-like artwork. Each of these painted books is not only an integral part of the overall masterpiece but also a standalone painting in itself, displaying the artistic prowess of both collaborators.

This collaboration between the Kyrgyz artist and the German photographer symbolizes the unity and cooperation between their respective countries, centered around the theme of the book: migration. Through their joint efforts, they beautifully convey the shared experiences and challenges faced by individuals who embark on journeys in search of new lives and opportunities.
